So the end is in site for the first Ghana volunteer project and WOW are they feeling it!!

We have had blood, sweat, tears, fainting, mosquito mania, constipation, diarrhea, pulled/torn/strained muscles, bruises and more but every one has been worth the pain…

The school is nearly there and it is a such a joy to see everyone working together to make something special for the kids. This is a long term project and there are bundles of opportunities to work with the SAFE Foundation on lots of different projects here so watch this space.

We’ll be returning to the UK on Tuesday and I’ll upload some more pics and videos then but for now here are some of the beautiful people that we have met. These pics are taken by our new official SAFE photog – Dan Green/mr bean who is also volunteering on the project -thanks shorty!
