[...] http://thesafefoundation.co.uk/index.php/donate/ Fleur Timmer No money but could pull a crowd to go out and build stuff??? Wed at 8:58pm Christopher Scott If you send a small delegation to Kumasi to set up/present equipment, FOUR VILLAGES INN (www.fourvillages.com) offers two rooms at half price for three nights-should there be availability. There has been a sign on that land for years “KEEP OFF-……. CHILDREN’S PARK” There has been no development on the land. Now one can see a bit of commercial encroachment on the eastern section of the land. 3. Or it could be on the next plot to Four Villages Inn. There is already a big play house on the land, an uncompleted building that could be converted into a whale of a play area. Already there are three little girls who are there all day every day. It would be beyond their wildest dreams to have a play ground there. I call them “THE CHILDREN OF THE BLOCKS’. Not the blocks that most children know. These are cement building blocks that are stacked on the property on which they play or spread out their meagre clothes and clothing. Their mother was a labourer on the uncompleted building carrying blocks and cement up the stairs to the first floor. Now there’s no work….and probably no future for the three little girls-BLOCKED! [...]
