Two exciting opportunities for young people

Were delighted have not one but two opportunities for young people to be involved in cultural celebration!

Youth Events Committee

We’re thrilled that SAFE volunteers have received C3SC funding to lead on organising a cultural celebration event that will take place in Cardiff in Feb/March 2025. We’re putting together a Youth Events Committee of people aged 14-25 to work together in all areas of event coordination including marketing, budgeting and logistics. You’ll be supported by our experienced team but will be empowered to plan and host a memorable community event. There’ll also be a chance to gain first aid and food hygiene certificates.

We’re hosting an Info Session over Zoom on Monday 21st October to share more details on how you can get involved.

India Trip

This is an amazing opportunity for 18-25 year olds who are not in education or employment to join us on a fully funded trip to Southern India in November! Over 14 days, the group will get a chance to learn how to make fabric slow cook bags and wooden sun cookers alongside other young people in the community and take part in a cultural exchange through mutual learning, sharing meals and celebrating traditions. No experience is required – you’ll be supported by our experienced team and we’ll be running comprehensive pre-departure workshops.
